How do I find a scholarly, peer-reviewed article?

Start with GALILEO or "Find an Article" on the Library's web page.

After searching your topic in GALILEO's Discover search, look on the left-hand side of the results page for ways to limit your results. One of your choices under "Limit To" will be Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals.

If you search a specific database (from a Subject Guide or GALILEO's Databases A to Z, for example), you often can choose to limit your search to scholarly or academic journals before you run your search, or limit your results afterward.

Want to make sure the article you want to use is scholarly and/or peer reviewed? Here's a chart to help you decide.
